Jordan Carroll of Kent Arrested in Deadly DUI Crash on Interstate 90 [Ellensburg, WA]

Ellensburg, WA (May 6, 2025) – The authorities arrested 22-year-old Jordan Carroll of Kent following a deadly DUI crash on Interstate 90 Saturday night.

It was around 8:53 p.m. on May 4 when the fatal three-vehicle crash happened near milepost 100, approximately six miles west of Ellensburg.

Investigators said a 2017 white Jeep Cherokee driven by Jordan Carroll rear-ended a 2008 black BMW motorcycle. 

Afterward, a 2024 silver Ram 3500 pickup and trailer also struck the motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider was declared deceased at the scene despite wearing a helmet.

Officers said Carroll was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt in the collision. The authorities arrested him with charges on driving under the influence and vehicular homicide. 

The Ram pickup’s driver, 56-year-old Michael Young of Snohomish, was also not hurt.
