Fresno Police Search for Gray Sedan Following Deadly Hit-And-Run on Highway 41

 
Fresno, CA (June 26, 2021) – Late Friday, Jordan Miranda, 31, died after a hit-and-run crash along Highway 41 near Ashlan Avenue.
 
The fatal hit-and-run crash in Fresno happened at around 11:30 p.m. on June 26.
 
The California Highway Patrol said the man was driving his SUV with a woman in the passenger seat traveling southbound on Highway 41 before being involved in a solo crash.
 
As a result, the man went outside of the SUV to inspect the damage.
He stepped into the third lane of Highway 41 and was struck by another vehicle. The driver that hit Mr. Miranda fled the accident scene.
 
Officers confirmed the Fresno resident dead at the crash scene.
 
Meanwhile, the woman in the passenger seat of the SUV only suffered minor injuries.
 
The suspect vehicle was described as a gray sedan. No further details were released on the exact shade or license plate.
