Driver Jorge Betancourt-Sanchez Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash on US 190 [Milam County, TX]

Milam County, TX (April 29, 2025) – 37-year-old Jorge Betancourt-Sanchez, of Bryan, was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on US 190 Friday night.

The fatal collision happened around 10:40 p.m. on  April 25, east of County Road 241.

DPS officers stated that a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Betancourt-Sanchez, was traveling east on the freeway when he attempted to pass another vehicle.

Betancourt-Sanchez, unfortunately, crashed head-on into a red Toyota Camry traveling west.

Responding officers declared Betancourt-Sanchez deceased at the scene. 

Meanwhile, the 51-year-old Killeen woman who was driving the Camry, was transported to the hospital and is expected recover.

This fatal collision is under investigation.
