Chevy Driver Injured in Lubbock TX Deadly Vehicle Crash
Lubbock, TX (April 15, 2026) – 37-year-old Jorge Calderon of Petersburg was killed in an FM 400 vehicle crash Tuesday.
Investigators said Calderon was westbound on CR 5300 and approached the FM 400 intersection. Police said he drove by the stop sign and was hit by a northbound Chevy pickup truck FM 400.
The Chevy truck hit Calderon’s vehicle on its driver side, killing him at the scene.
The truck driver, on the other hand, was transported to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock with minor injuries.
DPS said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts when the collision happened.
