Passenger Jose Ortiz Reyes Dead in Collision on 51st Avenue

Fatality Reported in Glendale Vehicle Crash

Glendale, AZ (November 18, 2025) – A wheelchair bound man, 70-year-old Jose Ortiz Reyes, was killed in a collision on 51st Avenue Sunday evening.

The deadly collision happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection withGlendale Avenue.

Investigators stated that a Dodge pick-up truck T-boned into a Chrysler van. Jose Ortiz Reyes was at the back of the minivan during the collision.

Reyes incurred serious injuries and later died.

After the crash, both vehicles crashed onto a stopped Toyota pick-up truck and an ambulance transporting a patient to the hospital.

No other injuries were reported in this collision.
