Bakersfield, CA (January 12, 2025) — A pedestrian, 19-year-old Joseph Adam Cruz Jr., lost his life after a tragic crash on South H Street early Sunday morning.

According to the Bakersfield Police officers, the fatal crash happened around 1:51 a.m. on the 4200 block of South H Street near White Lane. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male lying in the roadway. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
