38-Year-Old Joseph Cobb Dies in Horrific Motorcycle Crash on Chambers Avenue [Hemet, CA]

Motorcyclist Dies in Crash with Hemet Fire Department Truck

Hemet, CA (August 31, 2025) On Friday evening, authorities identified the motorcyclist who died after colliding with a Hemet Fire Department truck Friday night as 38-year-old Joseph Cobb of Hemet.

According to authorities, the crash happened around 8:36 p.m. at Chambers Avenue and State Street.

Police reported that Cobb was riding a small motorcycle when he collided with a fire engine. Despite emergency crews’ efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation to determine the cause of the collision. Officials have not yet released further details.
