Police Investigate Motorcycle VS Car Crash on Juniper Street in Omak

Omak, WA (August 21, 2025) – Joseph “Pat” Fisher, a well-known Omak motorcycle enthusiast and member of the Okanagan Samaritan Riders, sustained severe injuries in a motorcycle crash on Juniper Street on August 18. 

The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Juniper and Bennett Streets in Omak, when Fisher’s motorcycle and a car collided.

The crash left Fisher with multiple traumatic injuries, including a crushed and torn right foot, fractures in his lower right leg, missing teeth, and a serious facial injury that required over 50 stitches to reattach his bottom lip. 

First responders transported him to Mid-Valley Hospital, and later, medical personnel airlifted him to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. 

There, surgeons stabilized his leg and foot using rods, pins, and plates. He is scheduled for another surgery on August 22 and is expected to remain hospitalized for several more days.

Selena Martinez-Hines, who refers to herself as Fisher’s “big sis,” shared updates on social media and launched a GoFundMe campaign titled Stand by Pat: A Long Road to Recovery. 

She noted that Fisher faces an extended recovery period and significant expenses for medical care, travel, lodging, and lost wages, as he will be unable to work for months. 

She urged supporters to donate or share the campaign to help alleviate the financial burden.

Despite the serious nature of his injuries, Fisher’s family and friends remain hopeful and are rallying the community to support his recovery. 

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
