Joshua Duante Johnson Dies After Crash on 59th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (March 11, 2025) –  33-year-old Joshua Duante Johnson died in a crash on 59th Avenue.

Police have reopened a major road in Phoenix after a crash killed a motorcyclist early Tuesday afternoon.

According to Phoenix police, the collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. near 59th and Glenrosa Avenues, just north of Indian School Road. 

Officers arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist with severe injuries. Despite their efforts, he died a few minutes later. 

Authorities later identified him as 33-year-old Joshua Duante Johnson.

Detectives are still investigating the cause of the crash but confirmed that two other cars were involved. Both drivers remained at the scene.

Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
