Joshua Green Dead in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 46 [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (March 11, 2025) – 26-year-old Joshua Green was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 46 Monday morning.

The fatal vehicle crash happened around 7:50 a.m. at the Guadalupe River.

Police said a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by Green was traveling north on the highway when it crashed head-on with a 2007 Freightliner that was traveling south.

The Freightliner was fully engulfed in fire. Luckily, the rescuers were able to pull the driver of the Freightliner to safety and transport them to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle during the collision.

Sadly, Joshua Green was killed at the crash scene. His passenger, 25-year-old Matthew Payton, was critically injured and was rushed to an area hospital.

The Seguin Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of this deadly collision.
