South 66th Street Collision Kills Motorcyclist

Tacoma, WA (July 7, 2026) – 20-year-old Joshua Penland of Tacoma was fatally injured following a Tacoma Mall Boulevard collision Friday night.

The fatal crash happened at 8 p.m. at the intersection with South 66th Street.

According to the authorities, a vehicle was turning from S 66th Street crashed onto Penland’s southbound motorcycle.

Penland was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
