Motorcyclist Joshua Workman Dead in Collision on Phelan Road [Phelan, CA]

Phelan, CA (April 26, 2025) – Joshua Workman, 39, of Piñon Hills, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Phelan Road Thursday afternoon.

The fatal crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection with Lebec Road.

Troopers said Workman was riding a westbound 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Phelan Road.

According to the authorities, the motorcyclist was approaching the intersection while a 2014 Honda Civic was making a left turn from westbound Phelan Road onto Lebec Road.

Investigators said Workman attempted to pass traffic at the intersection and crashed onto the left side of the Honda Civic.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed Workman to a local hospital where he died.

The paramedics treated the driver of the Honda for non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, officers are asking anyone with information to contact the CHP‘s Victorville Office at (760) 241-1186.
