Journie Fletcher of Nocona Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 59 [Nocona, TX]

Nocona, TX (July 12, 2023) – On Friday, 23-year-old passenger Journie Fletcher of Nocona was killed in a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 59.

The driver of the vehicle Fletcher was riding attempted to pass several vehicles in a no-passing zone on the freeway and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The male driver, 21-year-old Symon Ford, was transported in a hospital in critical condition.

Moreover, the driver of the oncoming vehicle was treated and released while the passenger was treated for injuries and is in stable condition.

Officers are investigating the Nocona fatal collision.
