26-Year-Old Juan Carlos Medina Paniagua Killed in Columbia Avenue Crash [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (May 26, 2025) 26-year-old Juan Carlos Medina Paniagua of San Bernardino lost his life after a 2-vehicle crash on I-215.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened on southbound Interstate 215 north of Columbia Avenue at 9:33 p.m.

Reports say that a two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 215 in Riverside Saturday night claimed the life of a 26-year-old man.

The collision occurred when a red Honda Accord and a gray Chevrolet Tahoe crashed, causing the Tahoe to overturn and trapping someone inside the Accord.

Good Samaritans assisted victims at the scene, including several children and an infant who were reportedly inside the Tahoe.

Emergency crews transported Paniagua to Riverside Community Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not confirmed which vehicle he was in.

The crash investigation shut down all four southbound lanes during the response.
