Juan Martinez Limon Dead in SR 84 Collision

Woman Transported in Deadly Pedestrian Crash near Family Dollar

Stanfield, AZ (February 8, 2026) – Juan Martinez Limon, 40, of Stanfield , was killed, and a woman was injured in a SR 84 collision Tuesday night.

The deadly vehicle crash happened around 7 p.m. on January 27, west of Stanfield Road.

Troopers said a Limon and woman parked their vehicle on the side of the freeway and were standing outside when a westbound SUV left the roadway and struck them.

Responding officers declared Limon dead at the scene while the medical team rushed the woman to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities stated that Limon’s death was due to multiple blunt force trauma.

Officers said the SUV’s driver was also transported.

Moreover, troopers said impairment may be a factor in this collision.
