ELK GROVE, CA (September 12, 2022) – Saturday, authorities arrested Juan Reyes after a car crash on Franklin Boulevard and Laguna Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred on Franklin Boulevard and Laguna Boulevard.
 
According to reports, 28-year-old Juan Reyes hit his stolen car into a tree. Then, he run from the car and left behind an injured woman.
 
Authorities said that officers noticed a stolen car driving south on Franklin Boulevard. As the officer followed the suspect, the car fled at a fast speed.
 
Then, Juan Reyes veered into the driveway of the Valley Hi Country Club and continued speeding until the car hit a tree.
 
Afterward, Reyes escaped from the car and left a female passenger with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Eventually, officers contained Reyes to the driving range of the golf course and refused to comply with the commands from officers.
 
Then, officers found a loaded 9-millimeter handgun. Reyes was prohibited from possessing due to his criminal history and active warrants for his arrest.
 
Furthermore, officers booked Reyes to Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of the stolen property, evading, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, resisting arrest, and hit and run.
