Edinburg Collision Kills 78-Year-Old Man
Edinburg, TX (November 12, 2023) – 78-year-old Juan Solis of Edinburg sustained fatal injuries following an East University Drive accident Saturday night.
The authorities responded to the fatal pedestrian crash at 7:30 p.m. in the 2000 block area.
Investigators said Solis was walking on the outside lane when a black Ford Expedition struck him.
Immediately, Solis was taken to an area hospital where he was declared dead.
The driver stopped to help and is cooperating with the investigators.
