Odessa, TX (March 10, 2025) – 42-year-old Juan Vasquez and 34-year-old Nicholas Gonzalez were killed Saturday evening in a horrific 2-car crash on Goldenrod Drive.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened at about 11:37 p.m. at the intersection of East Goldenrod Drive and North Alfalfa Drive, just north of Odessa.

Reports say that the tragic head-on collision claimed the lives of two drivers.

Authorities say that Juan Jesus Vasquez of Longview, was driving east in a Dodge Ram truck, while Nicholas Matthew Gonzalez of Miles, Texas, was heading west in a Chevrolet Silverado.

Both drivers suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
