Two People Hospitalized after Two-Car DUI Crash on Simpson Lane in Marysville
Marysville, CA (May 13, 2022) – Friday afternoon, 30-year-old Julie Lovell sustained injuries in a DUI crash on Simpson Lane.
Subsequently, police arrested 40-year-old Thomas Hinojosa and booked him in the Yuba County Jail on the charge of driving under the influence.
CHP said Hinojosa of Olivehurst, was driving southbound on Simpson Lane when his truck drifted into the northbound lane hitting a truck driven by Lovell of Marysville.
EMS took Hinojosa and Lovell to Rideout Hospital to treat their injuries.
The impact caused both vehicles to sustain major front-end damage.
