Police Arrest Kaely Ochoa in Ashtabula Avenue Collision

Several Injured in El Paso Vehicle Crash

El Paso, TX (August 1, 2026) – The authorities arrested 17-year-old Kaely Ochoa following an Ashtabula Avenue collision Wednesday.

The authorities received reports on July 29 about a vehicle speeding and doing doughnuts in the parking lot of newly constructed warehouse at the 12200 block area.

Investigators said Ochoa was speeding while performing multiple 360-degree turns when she lost control. The vehicle then struck a curb and rolled over.

Ochoa and her six passengers sustained minor injuries.

Troopers booked Ochoa at the El Paso County Detention Facility on July 30. She is facing a reckless driving charge with a $2,500 bond.
