Pedestrian Dead in Spokane Hit-and-Run Crash

Spokane, WA (February 23, 2026) – Kasey Kimble, a Spokane man, was arrested following a deadly crash on South Pines Road early Saturday morning.

It was just past 1 a.m. when the deadly crash happened in the area of Desmet Avenue.

Officers said Kimble was driving on South Pines Road when he struck a pedestrian and drove away.

Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to their crash injuries at the scene.

WSP arrested Kimble around 5 a.m. and booked him into the Spokane County Jail.
