Kate Autry Killed in Traffic Crash on Grand Village Boulevard [Conroe, TX]

Woman Loses Life in Conroe Traffic Collision

Conroe, TX (February 21, 2026) Kate Autry, 72, was killed in a traffic crash on Grand Village Boulevard Tuesday evening.

It was past 5 p.m. on February 17 when the collision happened at the intersection with Town Park Drive.

Troopers stated that Autry was struck by a pickup truck in a marked crosswalk.

Along with witnesses, the driver of the pickup truck provided life-saving measures to the victim until the rescuers arrived.

However, responding officers declared Autry deceased at the crash scene.

Autry and the truck driver were both from Grand Central Park community.

Troopers are investigating this deadly crash.
