28-Year-Old Katie Moore Dead in Solo-Vehicle Crash on FM 455 [Wichita Falls, TX]

Wichita Falls, TX (December 2, 2025) – 28-year-old Katie Moore was fatally injured following a solo-vehicle crash on FM 455 Tuesday afternoon.

The deadly vehicle crash happened around 3 p.m. on December 30 in Montague County.

Troopers said the driver, Katie Moore, partially drove into a ditch and overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled.

Moore was thrown from the vehicle and died. Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt.

The passengers, two boys, ages 1 and 4, and two girls, ages 6 months and two years, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Nocona General Hospital. 

Officers said Moore and her passengers were from Forestburg.
