Ector County, TX (June 4, 2025) — 49-year-old Kennedy Kay of San Angelo lost her life in a crash involving a semi-truck in Ector County on the evening of May 28.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 302 and West Yukon Avenue. Investigators reported that the semi-truck failed to yield the right of way, leading to a collision with a Kia Sportage.

The driver of the Kia, identified as Kennedy Kimberly Kay, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
