Hit-and-Run Driver Out on Bail after Perris Bicycle Accident on 1600 Perris Boulevard

PERRIS, CA (July 3, 2025) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Kenneth Orlando Juarez Vega after a hit-and-run crash on 1600 Perris Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 11:56 p.m. in the 1600 block of Perris Boulevard.

According to Sgt Evan Bechtold, a southbound Honda Pilot struck a bicyclist and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the bicyclist to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run driver. Also, Juarez Vega was released the same day on $75,000 bail.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
