82-Year-Old Kenrick Skinner Killed in Temecula Bicycle Crash

 
Temecula, CA (October 6, 2020) – On Saturday, 82-year-old Kenrick Skinner of Murrieta died in a bicycle crash at the intersection of Margarita Road and Paseo Brillante.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 7:20 a.m. wherein a sedan vehicle struck him while peddling in Temecula.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Skinner was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he died at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
 
Moreover, Sgt. Joseph Greco said Skinner the victim was attempting to ride across Margarita. Just then, an eastbound Toyota Corolla hit him.
 
The sergeant said the victim “crossed into oncoming traffic,” without having the right-of-way. Though authorities are still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
 
On the other hand, the unidentified suspect driver was not injured and immediately stopped and called 911.
