We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the two people who died in this Hesperia plane crash.
Aircraft crashes often require extensive investigations because many different factors can contribute to an accident.
Federal investigators may examine the aircraft’s mechanical condition, maintenance history, flight controls, engine performance, weather conditions, pilot actions, communications, flight path, and other available evidence.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board may also review aircraft records and physical evidence recovered from the crash site as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
These investigations can take time, and preliminary information may change as investigators gather additional evidence.
For surviving family members, the aftermath of a fatal aviation crash can involve more than emotional loss.
Families may also encounter funeral expenses, insurance questions, estate matters, loss of financial support, and uncertainty about whether another individual, company, aircraft owner, maintenance provider, manufacturer, or other party may have played a role.
At Sweet Lawyers, we understand how difficult it can be for families to navigate these issues while grieving.
Our team approaches wrongful death matters with compassion, dignity, and careful attention to the unique circumstances of each case.
Wrongful death claims involving aviation accidents can be especially complex because they may involve federal regulations, aircraft ownership records, maintenance documentation, insurance policies, and multiple potentially responsible parties.
Whether a legal claim is available depends on the facts, evidence, and applicable law, and no outcome can be guaranteed.
Families may find it helpful to preserve any relevant documents, insurance information, correspondence, travel records, and other materials connected with the incident while official investigations continue.
