IONE, CA (July 8, 2026) – Thursday morning, an alarming 3-vehicle crash on State Highway 88 and State Highway 104 blocked lanes.

The collision was reported at about 9:44 a.m. and involved a silver Toyota RAV4, a white Toyota Prius, and a white Ford work truck.

CHP logs indicated the driver of the Toyota RAV4, who was reported to be 25 weeks pregnant, was struck by the vehicle’s airbag during the crash.

The incident was initially reported as a crash with unknown injuries before being updated to a possible injury collision. Authorities said the damaged Toyota RAV4 blocked the westbound lanes.

A tow truck was initially requested but was later canceled. The white Toyota Prius was reported to have been moved to Jackson Valley Road.

The cause of the crash and the extent of any injuries were not immediately available. The incident remained under investigation.
