EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (May 24, 2026) – Saturday morning, a fiery semitruck crash on 5 Freeway and Indiana Street led to a lane closure.

The incident involving a semi truck happened just after 3:00 a.m. on the southbound side of 5 Freeway and Indiana Street, near Boyle Heights.

Firefighters responded to the crash and extinguished heavy flames that engulfed the big rig.
