Legal Guidance After Motorcycle and Freeway Crashes in Pasadena

A freeway crash involving a motorcycle can be frightening and dangerous, especially when it results in injuries and lane closures on a busy route like the 210 Freeway.

Sweet Lawyers sends sincere support to the injured Los Angeles police officer and hopes for a full and steady recovery.

Even when injuries are initially described as minor or non-life-threatening, crash victims should take their recovery seriously.

Freeway collisions can cause neck pain, back injuries, shoulder trauma, headaches, soft tissue injuries, road rash, emotional distress, and symptoms that may worsen after the initial shock wears off.

Prompt medical evaluation and careful documentation can help protect a victim’s health and preserve important information about the crash.

Motorcycle-related freeway accidents often require a detailed investigation. Important factors may include vehicle speed, lane positioning, traffic flow, visibility, road conditions, driver attention, motorcycle movement, CHP reports, witness statements, dash camera footage, and any available traffic camera video.

When emergency responders issue a SigAlert and close lanes, those details may also help clarify the severity and impact of the crash scene.

Injured victims may face medical bills, missed work, pain, stress, and insurance complications after a collision. Insurance companies may contact victims quickly, but early statements or settlement offers may not account for ongoing treatment, future medical needs, lost income, or long-term effects.

Understanding your rights before speaking with insurers can help prevent costly mistakes.

Sweet Lawyers has decades of experience helping injured people after motorcycle crashes, freeway collisions, officer-involved traffic incidents, and serious personal injury accidents.
