Latrina Cheree Williams Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Interstate 14 [Copperas Cove, TX]

Copperas Cove, TX (February 3, 2024) On Friday morning, 38-year-old Latrina Cheree Williams of Killeen died after a pedestrian collision on Interstate 14.

According to Texas DPS, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 4:35 a.m. on IH-14 near mile marker 279, near the Coryell/ Bell County line.

Reports say that a 42-year-old Harker Heights woman, driving a 2023 Dodge Durango fayally struck Williams, who were walking in the left lane.

Authorities pronounced Williams dead at the scene.

DPS is investigating the deadly crash and have not released further details about the incident.
