Laythia Warner Arrested in Spokane Pedestrian Crash [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (August 13, 2026) — 19-year-old Laythia Warner faces a vehicular assault charge after police say she struck a pedestrian early Monday morning in Spokane, Washington.

According to the Spokane Police Department, Warner hit a woman around 4 a.m. near West Northwest Boulevard and North Ash Street. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and went to a hospital for treatment before being released later that morning.

Because of the severity of the injuries, Spokane police assigned the Major Crimes Unit to investigate. Officers reported signs of impairment and arrested Warner at the scene. She was booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of vehicular assault but was later released.
