Leiada Masten Involved in Horrific Crash on Williams Street [Eureka, CA]

Eureka, CA (June 13, 2025) — 24-year-old Leiada Masten of Anderson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a parked vehicle in Eureka early Thursday morning.

According to the Eureka Police Department, officers responded around 4:20 a.m. to the 2100 block of Williams Street following reports of a collision involving a parked car.

During their investigation, officers determined that the driver, identified as Masten, showed signs of alcohol impairment. The crash left a passenger with moderate injuries, and emergency responders transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

Police arrested Masten and booked her into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of felony DUI causing injury and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit, resulting in injury.
