Lester Valenzuela of Vallejo Arrested in Highway 29 Collision [Vallejo, CA]

Vallejo, CA (August 25, 2023) – At about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, the authorities arrested 30-year-old Lester Valenzuela of Vallejo in a Highway 29 collision.

The traffic collision happened at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday on Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive in American Canyon.

The accident report stated that Valenzuela was suspected of driving off after hitting a 59-year-old man. Officials said the pedestrian remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

Officers arrested Valenzuela on suspicion of hit-and-run with injury.

He was released hours later after he posted a $50,000 bail.
