Two Drivers Injured in DUI Crash on I-90 Near Cle Elum

Cle Elum, WA (September 24, 2025) On Saturday, 36-year-old Logan Thomas of Selah was hurt after a DUI crash on Interstate 90 near milepost 78, just west of Cle Elum.

Investigators said 31-year-old Casandra L. Bodnar of Ellensburg was heading east when her car hit a guardrail, crossed the median, and slammed into a westbound vehicle driven by Thomas.

Paramedics rushed Bodnar to Harborview Medical Center, while Thomas was taken to Kittitas Valley Healthcare. Authorities confirmed that both drivers had been wearing seatbelts.

Officials determined that drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. Bodnar now faces DUI charges.
