Passenger Lowell McCrea Killed in Horrific Traffic Crash on Willow Glen Drive [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (February 11, 2025) 32-year-old Lowell McCrea of El Cajon and 48-year-old Michael Droegemeier were killed in a tragic crash on Willow Glen Drive Friday evening.

Authorities say that the fatal collision happened before 10:30 p.m. on Friday in the 3600 block of Willow Glen Drive in the Jamacha area, north of Jamul.

Reports say that Droegemeier crashed into at least one other vehicle. He died at the scene. While his passenger, McCrea, suffered critical injuries and was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead.

Officials are investigating the tragic crash and have not released further information at this time.
