Luciano Johnson and Hunter Susan Milo Barrows Die in Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 10 [Benson, AZ]

Benson, AZ (August 19, 2026) — Luciano Johnson and Hunter Barrows died early Sunday after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Benson, Arizona.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety identified the victims as 26-year-old Hunter Susan Milo Barrows of Vail and 25-year-old Luciano L. Johnson of Rio Rico.

DPS said Barrows was driving eastbound near milepost 300 when she lost control. Her vehicle crossed the median and sideswiped an approaching vehicle before becoming lodged beneath a semitruck trailer.

Johnson was riding with Barrows when the crash occurred. Both victims died at the scene.

Barrows was a mother to a 4-year-old daughter, while Johnson also left behind a young daughter.
