2 Teenagers Injured in DUI Crash on the 100 Block of Monroe in Ford City

Ford City, CA (October 22, 2020) – On Tuesday, 2 teenagers were injured in a DUI crash, 18-year-old Luis Angel Martinez from Taft was arrested for drunk driving.

The CHP report says that the accident happened just after midnight in the 100 block of Monroe in Ford City.

Moreover, according to the report, Martinez is driving a 2000 Toyota Celica heading North on Monroe Street, near Ash Street.

Afterward, the Toyota was seen drifting towards the right side of the road and went directly for 2 vehicles parked on the shoulder.

Subsequently, the driver and his 16-year-old passenger had minor injuries.

Consequently, authorities did not release the minor’s name.
