Four Killed As Vehicle Went Underwater South of Eight Mile Road

Woodbridge, CA (August 13, 2025) – Luz Amado Basilio, 21, from Stockton, and three others were killed in a Rindge Road crash on early Monday morning.

The authorities said a vehicle went underwater around 4 a.m. south of Eight Mile Road.

Two victims were found and were rushed to the hospital.

Additional two victims were recovered by the dive team and were declared deceased at the scene.

According to the authorities, four people were killed in this accident. Troopers identified them as Esteban Alcantara Gerardo, 45, from Stockton, Julio Reyes Corraltitlan, 20, from Mexico, Leocadio Reyes Guillermo, 27, also from Mexico, and Luz Amado Basilio.

This fatal vehicle crash is under further investigation.
