Male Bicyclist Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Gulf Freeway [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (September 2, 2024) – A male bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Gulf Freeway Saturday night.

It was around 10 p.m. when the deadly crash happened near the intersection with Dixie Farm Road.

HPD officers said the bicyclist was hit by a vehicle that immediately fled the scene.

HPD officers ask anyone with details on the collision to come forward. They are also asking witnesses to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers to assist in identifying the driver involved.
