Woman Injured in Houston Fatal Crash

Houston, TX (June 25, 2024) – A male driver was killed while his passenger was injured following a Gessner Road rollover collision Sunday night.

The fatal collision happened at around 10 p.m. on Tanner Road near Highway 290.

Troopers said the driver was speeding when he lost control and crossed over the median. The vehicle then flipped multiple times.

As a result, the driver was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.

Firefighters extricated a woman who was sitting in the passenger seat and transported her to an area hospital in serious condition.

Investigating officers said speed appears to be the only factor in this fatal collision.
