Houston, TX (August 5, 2026) — Houston police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Gessner Road that claimed the life of 22-year-old Malik Foster on the evening of August 1.

The collision happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 400 block of Gessner Road. Investigators determined that Foster was riding a red Honda C9R500 motorcycle southbound at a high speed when it collided with a blue Nissan Pathfinder that was entering Gessner Road from Beauregard Drive.

Emergency responders pronounced Foster dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan Pathfinder suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
