Man in Critical Condition Following Acoma Drive Accident [Phoenix, AZ]

Phoenix, AZ (August 18, 2026) – A man sustained critical injuries in a Acoma Drive accident Sunday afternoon.

The authorities responded around 2 p.m. to the pedestrian crash on Black Canyon Access Road.

Troopers found the male pedestrian seriously injured on the roadway. 

Immediately, the patient was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Police said the man driving the vehicle involved remained at the crash scene and did not show signs of impairment.
