OROVILLE, CA (July 6, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 70 near Garden Drive.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol spokesman, the incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on northbound Highway 70 at the Garden Drive off-ramp.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, CHP closed the on-ramp for an hour to give way to the investigation.
