MADERA COUNTY, CA (June 9, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 99 near Highway 152.
 
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 2:45 a.m. on Highway 99 near the Highway 152 interchange.
 
Reports revealed that a semi-truck struck a male pedestrian on the road for still unknown reasons. Then, the semi-driver remained at the scene and called 911.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that the man died in the incident.
