Man Fatally Injured in Winnetka Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (April 12, 2026) – A man lost his life following a Winnetka Avenue hit-and-run crash Friday night.

The deadly collision happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection with Sherman Way.

Police said a black Chevrolet Camaro was traveling south on Winnetka Avenue when it struck the man who was crossing outside a marked crosswalk at the intersection.

Afterward, a white Ford truck also hit the man while lying in the roadway.

The medical team rushed the man to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
