Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Box Truck in Oxnard Plain

Oxnard, CA (December 18, 2025) — On Monday afternoon, a 31-year-old man died following a 2-vehicle collision on Hueneme Road between a motorcycle and a box truck.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened around 3:48 p.m. near the intersection of Hueneme and Raytheon roads.

Investigators said both the motorcycle and the box truck were traveling westbound on Hueneme Road when they collided in the center median. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities have not determined whether impairment played a role.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The 32-year-old truck driver stayed at the location and cooperated with investigators.

The collision forced the closure of Hueneme Road between Raytheon Road and Naval Air Road for more than two hours while crews worked the scene. The CHP Ventura-area office continues to investigate and is seeking additional information.
