Man Dies in Golden State Boulevard Hit-and-Run Crash

Fatality Reported in Fresno Traffic Collision

Fresno, CA (July 22, 2026) – A 49-year-old man was fatally injured following a Golden State Boulevard hit-and-run crash Monday night.

It was past 10 p.m. when the deadly crash happened at the intersection with Central Avenue.

Troopers declared the man deceased at the crash scene. Police believe he was hit by two vehicles, one of them may be a white 2018–2023 Toyota Camry.

The vehicles fled the crash scene before the authorities arrived.

In an update, officers said they also responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Jensen and Maple Avenues.

The burned vehicle was a white 2008 Infiniti G37.

In the meantime, police officers are investigating if the burned vehicle was involved in the deadly hit-and-run crash.
