42-Year-Old Man Dies in Suspected DUI Crash on Illahee Road [Kitsap County, WA]

Kitsap County, WA (August 13, 2025) – A 42-year-old Bremerton man died after a suspected DUI crash on Illahee Road Northeast.

According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, the frightening incident happened in the 5000 block of Illahee Road Northeast.

Reports say that a truck struck the victim while he was riding his bicycle.

Investigators said the truck’s driver, a 36-year-old Bremerton man, was under the influence of alcohol when he hit the cyclist. Deputies arrested him on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
