32-Year-Old Barnhart Man Dies in Violent Traffic Accident on Moss Drive [Jefferson County, MO]

Jefferson County, MO (May 12 2025) On Friday evening, a shocking traffic accident on Moss Drive claimed the life of a 32-year-old man from Barnhart, MO.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened around 8:10 p.m. at the intersection of Moss Hollow Road and Moss Drive.

Reports say that the Barnhart man lost his life in a crash involving his 2024 Honda CRF450RWE dirt bike and a Toyota Tundra in Jefferson County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the dirt bike rider was traveling north when the driver of a 2021 Toyota Tundra, heading south, attempted a left turn onto Moss Drive. The rider tried to brake and avoid the turning vehicle but partially overturned, slid, and collided with the right side of the Tundra. The impact ejected him from the bike.

Authorities pronounced the dirt bike rider dead at the scene, and his body was sent to the medical examiner’s office. MSHP Troop C is leading the investigation into the crash.
